The Ladbrokes logo will be in place, on the Titan’s sleeves and lower back, during the 2016 Telstra Premiership, which begins this Sunday against the Newcastle Knights at the Cbus Super Stadium.
Ladbrokes entered the Australian market in 2013 and in 2015 announced its acquisition of the gambling website Bookmaker.com.au for an initial A$22.5million (US$18.5 million).
Graham Annesley, The Gold Coast Titans chief executive, said: “The Ladbrokes brand internationally is older than the game of rugby league itself with over 130 years of history behind it. We are very excited to be joining forces with such a major well-established multi-national brand that shares the Titans vision for future growth and success”
In addition to its new sponsorship, Ladbrokes Australia also chose this week to roll out its new Odds Boost feature, which allows Ladbrokes customers a daily opportunity to improve the odds on any racing market of their choice.
